» What is this update?

This patch will update your HESK version 3.2.x to version 3.4.2

Follow the instructions below, and your settings, tickets, and articles will remain unmodified!

» HOW TO INSTALL

Non-English user? This update will reset your help desk language to English. After the update, download and install language files for HESK 3.4.x from the HESK Translations page.

  1. Backup your existing HESK files and database.

    Please do not skip the backup. It will only take you a few minutes and save you hours of headaches if something goes wrong. If the update fails, use the backup to restore your help desk.

     

  2. Upload all included files to your HESK (overwrite existing files).

    Did you rename your HESK's /admin folder? If yes, don't forget to move files from the new version /admin folder into your renamed folder.

     

  3. Open install in your browser and follow instructions, for example:
    https://example.com/hesk/install
     

  4. Delete the /install folder from the server.
     

Congratulations, your HESK is now updated!
